Recently I got to be in front of the camera for a change, something I’m definitely not used to. Thankfully one of my favorite photographer friends, Zlata Modeen of Zlata Modeen Photography, was there to ease me into the model role. She did a great job of really capturing my more relaxed demeanor for my new head shots, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Check out the full gallery below.
A photo shoot I worked on for Lavender Magazine‘s Fall Wedding Issue has been published. Hard copies on newsstands now, follow the link here for the full feature.

Here is a photo shoot I collaborated on last winter to promote the second annual Zenith City Indie Wedding Show which was held in February of 2013. Below are images and all vendors involved.
I was recently asked to participate in a contest hosted by Lake Superior Weddings and Events Magazine between local hair stylists, makeup artists, and floral designers featuring models from the area. Below you will find a sneak peek of my contribution as well as the products I used to create the look.
Here are a few shots from a shoot I did with Mad Chicken Studio and Vain Salon last year. I was going for a 40’s concept style with a sexy modern nautical influence. Whether or not that was projected clearly this was a really casual fun shoot and with a model like Rachel it was impossible for it not to turn out beautifully. Shooting took place along Park Point in Duluth, Minnesota.
Last weekend I collaborated with Vain Salon and Mad Chicken Studio, some of my very favorite talented people in the business, on a creative photo shoot with Rachel as our astounding model. I had the concept of doing a very summer feeling makeup look featuring nautical inspired details. This is what I came up with and seeing as it has a prominent “red, white, and blue” color palette I thought no better day to post than the 4th of July, Independence Day. Below you will find all the products I used to achieve this nautical/patriotic makeup look.
A few years ago, while admiring all the designers showcasing during Paris Fashion Week, one in particular’s runway makeup caught my eye. Continue reading
