Styled Bride: Briana | Duluth, MN Bridal Makeup

I was recently asked to participate in a contest hosted by Lake Superior Weddings and Events Magazine between local hair stylists, makeup artists, and floral designers featuring models from the area.  Below you will find a sneak peek of my contribution as well as the products I used to create the look.

Briana LSWE Contest Makeup

As a bridal makeup artist I am often asked to do very similar looks from my clients, typically something natural, soft, and polished, which is perfectly fine as that is my signature style.  The downside is that I end up using many of the same products over and over with little room for experimenting with wild colors and techniques.  That is why when I was asked to do makeup for the magazine I opted to have fun and do something a little more creative and bold.  I decided as this would be included in the Fall/Winter issue to incorporate major F/W trends such as dark lips, metallic shades, and flawless dewey skin.  I’m very happy with the look and, most importantly, I had a lot of fun playing with makeup.  Thanks to Bethany of Lake Superior Weddings and Events Magazine and an extra special thanks to my gorgeous model, Briana.  Good luck to all the others who participated as well.
