In November 2011 I participated in a competition of sorts between local salons, stylists, and photographers called Project Style, hosted by Lake Superior Weddings and Events magazine, and the contest winners were awarded with ad space in the magazine as well as having their look featured. My good friends at Adeline, Inc. and myself collaborated on hair and makeup and were teamed up with Blackbird Studio as our photographer and the gorgeous Rachel Radzak as our model, we were bound to be successful with such an awesome team! I decided to go with a really fun bold holiday party look for Rachel seeing as it’s that time of year. In the end our hard work earned us the awards for “Best Makeup”, “Most Cosmopolitan Hair”, as well as “Best Shot”! Here are a few shots of the winning look and some behind the scenes photos.
